Pudding desserts no bake is a type of dessert that is made from the use of different types of pudding mixes. It may include adding milk to the mix and stirring it so that it can blend well with each other before it is set aside in a refrigerator.
Making of pudding desserts no bake
Mix 2 cups of cold milk, 10 ounces (1 package) of instant chocolate pudding mix and 1/2 cup of sugar together in a bowl. Fold 8 ounces heavy whipping cream into the mixture until fully combined than either eat it right away or chill it for an hour. Note that if you chill the mixture it will become thicker due to the fat from the heavy whipping cream congealing. If you don’t mind runny pudding you can skip this step so the recipe only takes 5 minutes.
Other ingredients used to make pudding desserts no bake
You can also make vanilla pudding desserts no bake by replacing the milk with 2 cups cold whole milk, using only 1/4 cup sugar and adding 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract. You can leave out the chocolate or vanilla entirely if you want a plain no-bake cream dessert. For fruit flavoured instant pudding desserts you can either fold canned fruit into the mixture before chilling or create layers of different coloured jello in goblets then chill until firm. To create a layered effect, pour half of one flavour then half of another colour then repeat until your dish is filled. This works best if you put it in the fridge so it doesn’t run together.
Other desserts By using pudding and whipped cream
You can also make no bake pudding parfaits by alternating layers of pudding and fruit or crushed cookies in glasses. If you want a fluffier dessert, try making no bake trifles which are similar to parfaits but thicker due to the larger amount of whipped cream used. To make this dessert, start with a layer of cake or ladyfingers then add custard (pudding), fruit, chocolate chips and whipped cream then repeat until your dish is filled. Finally for something different you can try instant banana pudding by folding bananas into vanilla flavoured instant pudding. Then just eat it directly from the cup!
