For the preparation of this dessert, you need two types of ingredients, one is for the base of the cake and the other is for the frosting. For the base preparation, the ingredients require such as 1 ½ cups of all-purpose flour or whole grained flour, ¾ cup of white granulated sugar or brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, ½ cup of salted butter at the room temperature, 1 cup of hot boiling water, 1/3 cup of warm milk, 1 tablespoon of baking soda, ½ tablespoon of baking powder, and 1 teaspoon of lemon juice.
For the frosting, you need the ingredients such as 1 tablespoon of vanilla essence, 2 cups of powdered sugar, 5 tablespoons of milk and cocoa powder, 5 tablespoons of salted butter at room temperature. All the ingredients should be measured properly.
- At the first stage, you have to prepare the base of the dessert. So, take a bowl and put the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and vanilla essence. Then mix all the ingredients. Thereafter add warm milk and butter with lime and salt. You have to beat the mixture perfectly with the electrical blender. However, add some warm water if required for the consistency.
- The next step is to bake the batter of the pastry. You have to take the baking pot and pour half of the mixture. However, bake it for 35 minutes in the microwave at 220 degrees. Then repeat the same process and prepare the layers of the pastry.
Frosting Process Of Pastry
- For the frosting, you have to prepare the cream. So take the bowl and add butter, whipped cream, sugar, cocoa powder, condensed milk, and vanilla essence. Then blend it properly. Thus, the cream is ready for frosting.
- Take the layers and put the cream on the layer of the cake. At the topmost layer put the rest cream and add some grated chocolate and the choco chips and cheery or strawberry. Thus, the chocolate eggless pastry is ready for your hubby. Serve it with coffee or tea.
